Gender Focus: Researching the marginalization of women and girls

I started this 2d animation after a huge gap of doing animation. Our plan was to make the visuals simple but interesting and play with some good ideas. I still like the idea of morphing the piece of cloth beneath the sewing machine into a river. the execution could have been better but still, I love it! The major challenges were to depict some harmful practices in a way so that it doesn’t look bad/controversial, but the way it is in reality, such as breast ironing, female genital mutilation, etc. Hope you like this simple animation.
